'Spectre' Stunt Driver Takes The Aston Martin DB10 For A Spin: Video
It was back in December that Aston Martin surprised us with the unveiling of a new car, the DB10 , developed exclusively for a starring role in the new James Bond movie Spectre .

. Aston Martin has built just 10 examples, all of them for filming purposes, and while the car was never intended for production it does preview styling themes we can expect on Aston Martin’s next-generation sports cars starting with a successor to the DB9 due out next year.

Aston Martin is excited about the launch of Spectre , which is now only a couple of months out from its early November release, and in the lead up the automaker has released a short video featuring one of the movie’s stunt drivers, Mark Higgins, at the wheel of the DB10. The automaker has also announced a special, James Bond-themed DB9.

As for the DB10, the car is based on shortened version of the VH platform that underpins all current Aston Martin models. The car is capable of 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.2 seconds and also has the ability to shoot flames out of its rear. That’s important as the bad guys have access to the Jaguar C-X75 supercar concept.
