America’s latest 500-hp supercar has been revealed.
The Beast is a lightweight sports car that newcomer Rezvani Motors plans to sell in the U.S. for at least $165,000 each.
Packing a turbocharged and supercharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that the company claims puts out 500 hp, the Beast can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds. A manual gearbox is standard while a sequential automatic unit is available.
That quick sprint happens in no small party thanks to the car’s lightweight carbon fiber body, which gives it a curb weight of 1,650 lbs., making it roughly 600 lbs. lighter than the new Mazda MX-5. Top speed it rated at 165 mph.

The carbon steel chassis the Rezvani Beast uses comes from the Ariel Atom 3, though the American company says it has been made stiffer. Lightweight aluminum forged wheels are found at each corner, wrapped in front 235/35/19 and rear 295/30/19 tires.
Inside, the Rezvani Beast features carbon fiber seats and a carbon fiber steering wheel along with Apple CarPlay for iPhone integration. A windshield is optional equipment.
