Yes! PS4 users who have been hanging in there should now be able to dive back into GTA Online, which was down since the past day. While there has not been any official confirmation from developers Rockstar Games, the support site that shows the GTA Onlinenow shows an ‘up’ sign indicating that the game is finally back online.

GTA Online has quite the massive follower base and majority of its users come from the PlayStation 4, since it is聽the fastest selling console. So it’s no wonder that the issue escalated pretty quickly once the servers went down.

Soon after the servers bogged down, 聽users coming from all gaming platforms jumped on to social media platforms to express their discontent. Soon enough, Rockstar finally fixed the glitch聽for most of the platforms, including the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Xbox One. The only ones to be left offline by Rockstar also happened to be the bunch with聽the biggest number of users, the PS4.

It was just a couple of hours ago when the support page began indicating a ‘limited’ status, and now we have full functionality. Still then, it was interesting to note how online or cloud-based gaming could take a hit such as this, and make a gaming title completely inaccessible.聽More importantly this was no ordinary title, this was GTA!
