The Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 came about in 2000, when Audi took over the company and wanted to update the Italian supercar. It was working on the Murcielago, but the Diablo still had some life in it. In the rear of the car sits a 6.0-liter V-12 engine that produces 550 horsepower and over 450 pound-feet of torque. That's pretty excellent considering the car weighs under 3,600 pounds and has all-wheel-drive. It's fast, to say the least. To say more , it can't hold a candle to the modern supercar of today.

A Porsche 918 Spyder squared off against the older bull recently, and the result was clearly a win for the Porsche product. The German hypercar is a gas-electric hybrid, which has a combined power output of 887 thumping and whirring ponies. It can dash from 0-60 in well under three seconds, and will blitz a quarter mile in just 9.8 seconds. It's truly an amazing digital machine, and it's not even breaking a sweat against the extremely analog Lamborghini.
That's not to say we're quick to dismiss the Diablo. It's a loud, brutish machine, and we'd cherish every second we got to spend in the cabin. The noise, the steering feel, and the overall experience would be an extreme thrill.
