All of Dodge's 2016 Chargers and Challengers can now Go Mango, the automaker announced today.
That's not the name of a new dance move. Rather, it's a heritage-inspired color that was heretofore only available on Charger and Challenger SRT models.
Dodge confirmed the expanded availability of the orange Go Mango color this morning at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
Dodge revived Go Mango just last week, but the automaker says that it saw such a strong response at the enthusiast-oriented Spring Festival in California last weekend that it made the decision to make the color available line-wide.
We're not entirely certain the math works out for that timeline, especially since Dodge has Go Mango Chargers and Challengers on display at the New York show this week, but the decision is no doubt welcome to full-size Dodge buyers. The automaker said that about half of recent orders for its Charger and Challenger SRT have been for Go Mango.
There's no word on whether Go Mango will be simply available as a standard color on non-SRT Chargers and Challengers or if it will be bundled with other items in a package.
Dodge fans will be quick to note that the color was also recently made available on the Dart compact sedan.
