John Hennessey has an unabashed and unapologetic love of making fast cars even faster .
. He enjoys turning his power tricks on a wide variety of vehicles, from crushingly fast Cadillacs to crushingly fast exotics to... well, crushingly fast anything really. His latest high-speed shenanigans mobile is the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, and his taking it to powerful new levels.
Starting with the "standard" 6.4-liter-powered SRT Jeep, Hennessey adds the following:
• TVS2300 Supercharger System
• HPE Air Induction System
• Custom HPE Pulley (7-8 PSI Boost)
• Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers
• High-Flow Catalytic Converters
• Ported Factory Cylinder Heads
• Fuel System Upgrade
• High Flow Fuel Injector Upgrade
• All Necessary Gaskets & Fluids
• Custom HPE Thermostat
• Professional Installation
• HPE/Arrington Engine Calibration
• Chassis Dyno Tuning
• Road Testing (up to 100 miles)
• Serial-Numbered Dash Plaques
• Serial-Numbered Engine Plaques
• Hennessey Premium Floormats
• Powered by Hennessey Engine Covers
• Hennessey & HPE650 Exterior Badging
What does this do? Well, it turns the car into the Jeep HPE650 Supercharged SRT8. It also pushes the power up to 620 horses, and helps the Jeep make it from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds. It will also run down the quarter mile in 12.6 seconds with a trap speed of 110 miles per hour. Not too shabby for a heavy Jeep, eh?
