Micromax has finally launched its recently announced Canvas 6 Pro smartphone.

Micromax has finally launched its recently announced Canvas 6 Pro smartphone. Announced at the re-branding event held last week in Delhi, the smartphone is now up for pre-order and Micromax states that it will begin shipping the same starting 20 April.
Customers who would like to pre-order the smartphone, can head to the Micromax revamped e-store and pre-book聽the same on a payment of Rs 1,000.
The Canvas 6 Pro, unlike the Canvas 6, sports a plastic body that utilises an ergonomic polymer grip. The rest of the hardware features are almost similar to its metal clad sibling. This would include a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a MediaTek Helio X10 clocked at 2GHz along with 4GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card slot.
There is a 13MP primary camera that features an LED flash and PDAF, while a 5MP unit is in charge of selfies.
As for connectivity options, we get聽4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. All of the above is fuelled聽by a 3,000mAh battery. The handset runs聽Android 5.1 Lollipop聽and comes with Micromax’s new Around discovery platform and plenty of pre-loaded apps.
