It's called the LM3D Swim, and Local Motors plans on pre-selling models in the spring of 2016. This new plant is currently under construction in Knoxville, Tennessee, and it should be finished by the end of 2015.
The Swim will be the first of a series of cars under the LM3D name. Local Motors is currently working on crash testing and highway certification for the Swim ahead of its actual production and sales.
