SMS inbox management app Ubox now available on Google Play Store

Ubox, the app which helps users reduce their SMS inbox clutter and help control聽their inbox, is now available for download at the Google Play Store.

Ubox, the app which helps users reduce their SMS inbox clutter and help control聽their inbox, is now available for download at the Google Play Store. The app makes it easier to manage SMS conversations with Banks, DTH, Operator and other applications, thus separating them from other promotional messages.

Ubox is able to tell the difference between an important and a promotional SMS messages by giving context to the SMS inbox 鈥撀爐he app auto-sorts messages into Banking, Bills, Bookings, Chats, Promo & Updates. With that done, users can switch notifications on or off as per the type of SMS.

鈥淲e understand that no one is texting friends and family anymore and when so many people around us started complaining about the constant distraction of SMS鈥檚 from businesses we knew it was a problem worth solving. With the onset of digital India, the number of SMS messages we all get is going to quadruple by next year,鈥� said Hameer Virmani, co-founder of Ubox.

Along with making it easier for users to follow and manage their accounts, Ubox also users block spam and with each block, the spam filter continues to get better for everyone using the app, shares the company.

Ubox is based in New Delhi and was founded by Hameer Virmani, founder of a digital agency called We Dont Sing, Amar Kant, the tech lead at We Dont Sing and Caith Arora who previously was working with www.ring.com as a product designer.
