YouTube user Arekkz provides a handy farming path for players to follow in Tom Clancy’s The Division who are looking to acquire the rare crafting resource division tech.
While The Division continues to break sales recordsafter successfully launching last week, many players are still coming to grips with the many items inside of the game and what they are capable of doing. From the multitude of currencies like Dark Zone Funds, Phoenix Credits, and the common Division Credits to an assortment of crafting materials like electronics or weapon tools, the material known as division tech remains somewhat of an enigma for most players, especially those who have yet to enter the PvP enabled Dark Zone.
Before getting to the where, it’s worth noting that division tech is a crafting resource that allows players to create special High-End gearfrom blueprints obtained within the Dark Zone. The material comes in three rarity types either as uncommon, specialized, or high-end, but the real reason why this material is so powerful is that players can convert it into a number of different types of Dark Zone enabled crafting materials like tools, cloth, or any other resource. Rather than dismantling gear, players can instead convert division tech to obtain whatever resources are needed.
For those who have reached the end game inand are looking for ways to get their hands on division tech, YouTuber Arekkz has created another handy Division video showing an efficient farming route through the Dark Zone. The run begins in DZ01 and spans the entire length of the massive area until coming to an end in DZ06. The final area is a level 30+ zone, so those who have not reached the level cap should proceed with extreme caution at the number of wandering enemy factionsstrewn about. The route is designed to provide the best bang for your buck in terms of acquiring as much division tech as possible in the shortest amount of time.
It is worth noting that these division tech chests are shared between everyone in the zone, so by opening them before someone else, they’ll be required to wait until it refreshes after a short cooldown. This could lead to a firefight for players who are impatient or upset that they were beat to the chest as seen in Arekkz’s video.
Division tech isn’t the only prize to be found within the contaminated walls of the Dark Zone however, as loot chests and special keys also hold immense value for players looking to score sweet gear. To help the Dark Zone leveling process alongside of unlocking high end gear quickly, a user on Reddit put together a useful farming pathwithin the first Dark Zone area known as DZ01. Players should be ready for a fight as the route contains a number of elite enemies along the way, outside of the fact that the loot will need to be extracted, which tends to always lead to unpredictability.
