There’s no denying the appeal that Fallout 4 has brought with it thus far.
has brought with it thus far. Aside from once again bringing the series to the forefront of relevancy, the upcoming game looks to be one of the more ambitious projects to ever come from Bethesda. With an ample number of new features and an ever-growing community to support the title post-launch, the blockbuster’s hype train has officially left the station.
With excitement on this scale, however, it was inevitable that merchandise pertaining to the series would be arriving to capitalize on the release of. Evidently, Funko will be providing fans with the chance to lay some cash down for collectibles with the company’s newly unveiled lineup of Fallout “Mystery Minis”.
The forthcoming figures were revealed through IGN , as the site announced the newfound partnership between Bethesda and Funko. Understandably, fans of the Fallout series will be excited at the prospect of collecting further merchandise beyond the Pip-Boy included in the collector’s editionof the series’ next iteration, but it won’t be as easy as going to the store and purchasing all 12 in one go.
These unique vinyl figurines will be made available in blind boxes, which means that players can’t be sure which character they’ll receive. Fortunately, there aren’t any that are considered more rare or valuable than the other, so collectors will have a 1 in 12 chance of getting their preferred collectible.
Each toy is modelled after the iconic Vault Boy mascot or other existing characters from the series, with a fun variety of different people being included for fans. Funko’s line is set to arrive in stores later this Fall, to establish themselves prior to the launch of Fallout 4 . That said, the lineup of characters and figurines made available through this partnership is sure to grow, so if you don’t see your favorite series’ mainstay yet then don’t worry too much. Still, the fact that fans can own some additional, tangible swag for the upcoming game is an exciting possibility for them to be sure.
