Lamborghini has just introduced a rear-wheel-drive Huracánbut a new, more hardcore version may be just around the corner.
. You’ll notice that the car's regular exhaust tips are dummy units. The real tips are mounted higher and closer to the center of the car.

Enlarge PhotoOne of our most cherished cars of the modern era is the Gallardo Superleggera, and it's possible this new car will be a successor to that model. The SuperVeloce name is reserved for Lamborghini’s most extreme cars, so we don’t expect to see an SV-badged Huracán. Instead, the Italian marque reviving the Superleggera name seems more likely.
Superleggera is Italian for “superlight”, so any new Superleggera version of the Huracán will have to feature some weight-saving mods such as a stripped-out cabin and increased use of carbon fiber. Tweaks to the suspension, steering and transmission are all possible as well.

Enlarge PhotoOther upgrades may include a slight bump in power, perhaps with the final figure matching the 611 horsepower (620 hp in metric figures) of the Super Trofeo racer. The standard Huracán LP 610-4 comes with 601 hp, while the rear-wheel-drive Huracán LP 580-2 has 572 hp.
There's still plenty of testing to be done as the car is still in the mule stage. Look for a reveal to take place late next year or early 2018.
